In Memoriam: Barry Berlin

In Memoriam: Barry Berlin

On July 19, 2019, Barry Berlin passed away unexpectedly at the age of 79.  On that day, the world lost a kind soul and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  His generosity and selflessness were demonstrated through the inception of Coop’s Hoops, which has been instrumental in changing the lives of many children.

He was a constant supporter of everything done to honor Cooper’s legacy. And like Cooper, Barry was a huge fan of Clyde Frasier’s from way back. Perhaps even Clyde’s number one fan.

Barry is truly missed by the many people who dearly loved him, but he lives on through his family and through Cooper’s legacy, which is now bonded together with his.  As Coop’s Hoops continues to grow, we will remember Barry and his wonderful contributions.
